Justyn began his Martial Arts training in Tae Kwon Do in 1986. While studying Tae Kwon Do, Justyn also took up Karate to further compliment his training and widen his knowledge of the Martial Arts.

After achieving his Black Belt in Karate and Black Tag grade in Tae Kwon Do, Justyn broke away from these two Martial Arts and began studying Kickboxing under the expert instruction of John Cane - a renowned full time Martial Arts instructor.

It is here Justyn met Steve Winsper (of Winsper Martial Arts) and trained alongside Steve and his two sons, Matt and James (both Kickboxing World Champions) and went on to obtain his 4th Dan in Kickboxing and Instructors qualifications.

After a long career on the tournament circuits, Justyn took the decision to break away from sport related styles and focus on more of the reality based arts.

During his 25+ years in Martial Arts, Justyn has held various titles and represented England twice. He now writes a monthly column for Martial Arts Illustrated magazine and is currently writing his third book on Kickboxing.
